It was also conveniently located close to the village, making everything easily accessible. The hut itself had a charming "gypsy" twist, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. the owner, Viv, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and at home during our stay.

The cleanliness of the cabin was a bit disappointing. The seats and beds looked and smelled dirty, and my youngest child even woke up with red bites on his face.

Had access to very good bathroom and kitchenette. I appreciated the host who runs the place...

I recently stayed in a cozy cabin with breathtaking views. Despite the freezing weather outside, the electric heater kept me nice and warm. The cabin was well-equipped with a kettle, cooker, and pots. My daughter loved the farm animals, and having a sledging field nearby was a bonus. Although the cabin was compact, it provided everything I needed for a memorable gypsy hut experience. Viv, the owner, was friendly and helpful. I had a delightful stay and would recommend this unique accommodation.

My family and I had an amazing time at Gypsy Hut in Newtonmore. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views right at our doorstep. We were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and homely the hut felt, making it a true home away from home. The owner was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at ease. The highlight for my daughter was definitely the opportunity to meet and interact with the farm animals, especially Chino the adorable calf. The hut had all the necessary amenities, including a kettle, cooker, and pots. Despite the freezing weather outside, the electric heater kept us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. We also loved the convenience of being only a short 10-minute walk from the town center.

While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The double bed mattresses tended to slip apart, which was a bit inconvenient.

The ambience and location were fantastic. Viv was friendly and allowed us to use the kitchen. The pets were lovely and quiet. The barn added to the unique experience.

While there were a few minor issues, such as the mattresses on the double bed slipping apart, it wasn't a big problem as I wasn't sleeping on the parting side. Additionally, there were some concerns about cleanliness and the presence of discarded materials and animals in the surrounding area.
